Hank's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hank's Story...
Ok I've been fostering the most amazing dog ever. His name Hank the Cow dog.
I have taken my time posting him because we have had so much fun with him but we already have a full house and we need to give him a chance to find a forever home.
We have taken him everywhere with us. He rides great in the car and he gets along great with all of our many....many animals including birds, two big dogs, two small dogs, two cats and we visit my father in law who also has small dogs and a large dog and chickens. He never even lifted a lip.
He's truely amazing. After three days with us we took him into the foothills to excercise and kept him on a long line (a thin nylon rope about 12ft long) but I never needed it. He came evertime we called and never left too far from out side. It didn't matter how far our other dogs went he stayed close to us. So if you camp, hike, fish, walk, anything you want a companion for man is he the dog for you.
He loves my two boys and even listens to them.
When he looks at me with those big brown eyes I feel like a queen or hero or something. He is so dedicated.
He plays fetch
He is house trained
He learns really quick and is so smart!

I mean really!!!! What else could you want in a dog????

Now he does tend to beg a bit for food and for your attention. If he wants to pet he will beg like no other.
I open my door to leave and call him with me and he heads right to the car with me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hank, a Meridian Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
