Joy's Story...
Meet lovely lady Joy! This precious lab was pulled from an overcrowded animal control facility at the last minute and shows us everyday how grateful she is. Joy is approx. 2.5 years old and weighs around 65 lbs...the perfect age for a lab...Joy is easy going..yet always up for an adventure! She is crate trained and is only missing a special person to love and cherish her forever. Joy lives up to her name and is a happy girl. She is sporting a 'dudley' red nose which is common in field type labs. Her foster mom would love to tell you more about this special lab. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joy, a Exeter Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Exeter, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Exeter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Exeter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Exeter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Exeter paves the way for another one to be saved.
