Keefer's Story...
Keefer- is a wonderful tiger boy with a story to tell. He is a prime example of what some love and understanding can do. At first he acts shy but he loves attention. He gives kisses and is a very mellow, sweet boy.He hops up on the computer desk for attention from his foster mom. He wants to sit on your lap and nuzzle you. He likes to snuggle with you while watching TV. He will need to go a home where there is one room he can stay in until he can bond with the family members. He was trapped, neutered and released in late Nov 2006. He hung out side at someone's deck and was fed there, but they could never touch him.Then, when they had the house under construction he started roaming the neighbborhood ,looking in someone else's window , hoping for sanctuary. He was trapped again April Â’08. He was such a sweet boy his rescuer could not put him back out again. He would need a very gradual introduction to the household. Once he gets to trust you he will be a delightful companion. He would do great in a quiet adult home. He gets along great with other calm cats and likes kittens. He is affectionate with his foster mom and gives kitty kisses. He can be held for a little while. He sits on your lap sometimes and just loves sitting next to you being petted. He greets you by rubbing on your legs and "talking", making the "pidgeon cooing sounds". He is up to date on shots and Leuk. Neg.
