Pickles's Info...

I am good with dogs and good with cats.

Pickles's Story...
Pickles is a very sweet-natured, even-tempered gal. She's really very low-key, she's calm inside her kennel and on her walks in the park, she's shown indifference to cats, and she hasn't demonstrated being dog-reactive. Pickles was pretty shy when she first came to the shelter, but she's getting over that, and is getting used to lots of love and affection from the volunteers who spend time with this lovely girl.

Act quickly to adopt Pickles. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickles, a Berkeley American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
