Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sailor is a very handsome, gentle, affectionate and kind, two-year-old, 66-pound, Black Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland-mix looking for a loving home. Found as a stray in Terre Haute, Indiana, he was named Sailor because he looks like he has a white anchor on his chest. He is housebroken, non-destructive in the home, knows sit, give paw and takes treats very gently. He gives people and other dogs kisses. He is wonderful with people of all ages, as well as other dogs and cats. Sailor is great on leash, but he does pull a bit when he sees squirrels, and birds . He is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper and bordatella vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on preventative. To meet and possibly adopt Sailor, please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com or 312-961-4571. He is being fostered in Chicago near Lawrence and Ashland. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets.
