C6606's Story...
I am one of five kittens found as strays. I will be available for adoption on May 10th if my owner doesn't come to get me. I'm about 6-8 weeks old and a typical friendly, happy and playful kitten! I will be adopted out on a spay contract which includes a monetary deposit that will be refunded when you provide proof from your veterinarian that I have been altered, which MUST be done by the time I'm 6 months old! If you are interested in me and you can provide a loving responsible forever home please contact the shelter and don't forget to include my ID number! If you don't plan to honor the adoption contract and have me spayed and keep me up to date on my shots, please do not inquire about adopting me.5/5

Why Adoption is a Great Option

C6606, a Ladysmith Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
