Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have done a DNA TEST on John, Sully's brother!!!
The results state that he is a mix of Australian Shepherd, Boston Terrier, Bulldog, Miniature Pinscher, and Shetland Sheepdog. These results are at most one or two breeds off in litter mates.
About me: Sully is an intelligent, affectionate, well-mannered 2 year old Australian Shepherd/Boston Terrier mix boy. Sully's mother was found by a good Samaritan in her neighborhood at six weeks pregnant. She took her in and a litter of 7 puppies were born. This good Samaritan decided to keep two pups, now John and Sully, and adopted out the rest. She no longer has the adequate time for Sully and his brother and contacted our rescue. We are now searching for their forever home!
Today, Sully is a low to medium-energy boy who loves affection and attention. He also loves to sleep at your feet and on his dog bed. He is in foster with multiple other canines and cats and loves to play with them. He is very intelligent and easily trainable. Sully has always been allowed to free roam and so far, has not torn anything up; therefore, his foster mom does not require him to be in a crate. Sully is (at times) nervous and reserved in new surroundings but, with approval, he quickly warms up. Sully is well-mannered and he is respectful of your space. He knows when it is playtime and when it is time to quiet down. Instead of jumping up on people, Sully will bounce around your feet in excitement.
What a perfect home would have: Sully would do best in a home with or without another canine. If he were to have a companion canine, it would need to be a non-dominant, non-aggressive dog. Older children are preferred, as Sully has not been around young children.
