Subway's Story...
****This Pet will be at our Saturday May 8 Pet Adoption at Heritage Community Bank, 1206 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph, NJ from 11 to 1****

Subway is a ~6 year old standard-sized dachshund turned into an area shelter as a stray with another doxie who has been adopted. He seems pretty mellow and well-behaved and will make a great companion for a home of doxie-lovers. Please submit an application from our homepage www.secondchance.petfinder.com if you are interested. He will be neutered and updated on shots prior to adoption.
We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes or boarding kennels and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash). To help us better match a pet to your household, we request you fill out an application on our homepage www.secondchance.petfinder.com and copy and paste it into an email, or print it and bring it to our adoption day when you come. Local inquiries only please- we do not do long distance adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Subway, a Randolph Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Randolph, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Randolph.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Randolph already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Randolph breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Randolph paves the way for another one to be saved.
