Mary's Story...
Hi my name is Mary and I am a sweet girl. I was a very young mom and all of my pups were adopted and I was dropped off at a high kill shelter. The nice folks at Dog World Rescue saw how special I am and decided to find my forever home for me. I am between 3-4 years old, housebroken and spayed. I walk beautifully on leash. I am a bit shy when I first meet you,but within minutes I really warm up to you. Will you open your heart to me and adopt me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mary, a Alexandria Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
