Poindexter's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Poindexter's Story...
Poindexter, Dex for short...this pup was found stray behind a convenience store along with his brother Bogart.
He is a very loving puppy and must have been someone’s pet before because he is housetrained! He does not know any commands, so puppy classes are highly recommended. He seems to really enjoy the companionship of other dogs so he may be a good choice for a second dog.
He has all his permanent teeth, and is estimated to be about 9 months old. He weighs close to 30 pounds, so I am guessing that he will be a small to medium size when full grown.

If Dex has stolen your heart, please email us for an application today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poindexter, a Windham Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Windham, or seeking a Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Border Collie/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
