Hello- I'm MELA! I am a beautiful short-hair calico (orange, white and black)- and I'm a happy-go-lucky girl! I am approx. 12 months old as of May 2010. As of the end of May (2010), I am spayed, up to date on shots, tested negative for both FIV and FeLV and I am also treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and of course I am housebox/litterbox trained- I love the pampered indoor life! I get along well with all people-- in fact I LOVE people- I am very affectionate, and I do very well with dogs. But I prefer a home with no other cats-- as I like to have lots of attention!

My life started out VERY tough! I was a stray and then I was captured by a busy shelter- who had no space for me-- so I was a DEATH ROW KITTY! My time was very limited- and in fact, I was rescued by the good people at Advocates 4 Animals just in time!

I'm a happy kitty- very affectionate, friendly, I love to be petted, held, play with my cat toys-- and just be loved! I'm cute as can be too! I will be ready for adoption as of the end of May 2010. If you're interested in adopting me- please contact A4A Rescue today! I sure can't wait to meet YOU!
