My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THUNDER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

.Thunder is a gorgeous, brawny, 80 pound Rottie/Shepherd mix waiting patiently for a loving home. Poor Thunder has had a rough go of it. He was seized as part of a neglect case with several other dogs and cats after they were abandoned in a home with no food or water. Because there were criminal charges filed Thunder had to be held at a pound in southern IL for nearly 9 months until the case was resolved. He was finally released for adoption or rescue after waiting so patiently. We heard about this beautiful guy and just knew we had to save him. Despite his past, Thunder is a very well adjusted, friendly and happy guy. He was recently relocated to a foster home in Chicago and is doing very well! He is learning to enjoy the finer things in life and is very appreciative of his new found luck. He is a very affectionate and loving dog that will make a fine companion. He is well behaved in the home and is crate trained and is housebroken as long as he is kept on a schedule. He is good with other dogs and is an overall amazing dog! Thunder unfortunately did test low positive for heartworm, but he has been treated and is ready (finally!) for his forever home. If interested in adopting Thunder, please email animaladoption@hotmail.com or Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an application.

Thunder's adoption donation is $250. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Thunder from euthanasia.
