Cazzy's Story...
DOB March 1, 2009. Cute Cazzy is waiting for you to take her into your home! This sweet girl is an total sweetie! She has been in foster care for several years now so we really hope to find her and her sister Mimi a forever family soon! They were rescued from an alleyway in the west end of Toronto off of a busy street. Originally they were going to be Trap-Neuter-Returned, but it quickly became clear that they were too social to return to a feral cat colony. Cazzy has made amazing changes since first being rescued! She was very scared when first fostered but now loves to meow for food and treats and to cuddle! She would probably be a bit shy at first and would required a super special family who would be patient to help her and her sister warm up to them. She is bonded to Mimi and must be adopted with her. Cazzy is also great with other cats if you have others in your home already! Give this wonderful pair a chance in the forever home they deserve.

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

***For the month of April, all Toronto Cat Rescue cats who are 8 months or older will have a reduced adoption fee of $80 (seniors cats 8 years or older are a donation of your choice).

Decided on the kitty you would like to adopt? Please call the TCR Hotline - 416-538-8592 (press 1 for adoptions and leave a message).

An adoption coordinator will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

Next you will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your kitty home with you (in a safe carrying case).

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note: ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.
