My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tina: is a 4 year old, spayed, black and tan female with natural ears and a cropped tail. Tina was surrendered by a "backyard breeder" just 2 weeks after weaning her last litter as the breeder no longer needed her. Tina weighs 12 pounds and is taller than average.
Tina came into rescue without much kowledge regarding how to be a pet. She quickly learned that she no longer has to take care of babies, but will now be taken care of! She has learned the doggie door and appears to be potty trained. Tina wants to be on your lap whenever possible and is good with her foster siblings as well as her foster mom's infant. She like to look out the window and will bark to alert her humans of any activity in HER yard! Tina sleeps nicely in her crate at night and can be trusted in the house when you are gone. She has one downfall... she LOVES food and if food is left near the edge of the counter she will jump to get it! We are trying to break her of this. She has learned the command "sit" and does so before meals and treats. When we first tried to get her to "sit" she peed in fear and may have been mistreated in the past. Tina would do fine in a home with other dogs or as an only pet. Tina has gotten out of the gate as we were coming inside, but she stayed in the driveway and did not run. This is a good sign as we have chased countless foster dogs up the street! She does not appear to be a runner. Tina has a heartful of unconditional love if you are looking for that!
Note: Tina is located in Florissant MO - and we will not fly this girl.
