Bernie Adopted !!!!'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bernie Adopted !!!!'s Story...
Bernie was turned into a shelter due to his owner dying. We think he is between 3 to 5 years old. He weighs 12 pounds. His coat is beautiful. He has been neutered, micro chipped and had all his medical updated. He is new into rescue so we will be doing an update shortly as to his disposition and personality. He is house broken. He would not be suited in a home with kids. He does very well with his foster dogs though. Do not know how he does with cats but based on his ability to get along with other dogs he may be okay. He does great on a leash and rides in a car great. He does not like going to the veterinary's office. He is black with brown legs. Quite a cutie pie...!!!!!

We adopt in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and some parts of NC. We require a home and vet check. Bernie's adoption fee is $300.00. If you would like more info on Bernie please email potomacpekes@G

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bernie Adopted !!!!, a Richmond Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
