Mimi IS ADOPTED's Story...
05/13/10...We would like to introduce to you Mimi. A lovely, sweet girl, who deserves a chance to get a family of her own. Mimi came into the rescue from a high kill rescue with her four babies who were so sweet liker her mother that they all found homes of their own within a week. We hope Mimi will be that lucky...she is that sweet.

Mimi is a very young. small mom...we don't believe she is even a year old yet. Her foster mom says she loves to be held and will put her paws on your shoulder and snuggle into your neck. Mimi will make a wonderful pet and companion to whoever will give this wonderful kitty a second chance at life. Mimi is being fostered in a home with children and other cats and does fine, but we don't know about dogs. She is one of the first greaters to the door when you visit eagerly waiting to say hello to all that visit. She is very friendly, and absolutely not the kind of kitty that will run and hide under the couch.

Mimi is very adaptable and gets along with everyone. She is now best friends with the foster moms cats. She sits nicely and patiently at adoption events in the ring with all of the other kittens watching them all go to great homes and she is always being passed up for the small ones. She lets everyone pick her up, hold her and pet while she purrs the entire time.

Mimi's adoption fee is $75.00 and includes her FeLV/FIV testing negative, spaying, rabies vaccination, micro chipped, dewormed with droncit for whip, hook, round and pin worms treated with revolution for the prevention of fleas, mites and heartworm, a 3n1 vaccination plus a booster vaccination and kitty box trained. She is ready and waiting for her new family and home.

If you would like to meet and adopt Mimi and you own, you will need to provide a current utility bill, proof of ownership (i.e. tax or mortgage bill) and drivers license. If you rent you will need to provide us will a copy of your lease that show pets are a allowed along with a current utility and a drivers license.

You would like to meet Mimi, you can call Giselle at 630-759-6890. You can also meet this kitten at the Bolingbrook Petco on Boughton and Weber Road from 11:30 - 3:30 on Saturday, June 19th. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimi IS ADOPTED, a Naperville American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
