Laynie's Info...

Laynie's Story...
My name is Laynie and I have had a rough life and could use some kindness. I lived in an apartment with my first family but they got evicted and left me behind. The landlord found me inside the empty apartment with a pile of food. He took me out and brought me to the humane society. I was adopted by a new family but now they need to find a new home for me because they got a cat, and I don't like cats at all. Most JR's do not like cats so I am really not odd.

I am an incredibly sweet dog but I am a little shy at first. My first family was abusive to me so it takes a little bit of time for me to warm up and trust new people. I really need a patient and kind family to live with now. I am probably about 6 or 7 years old. I love to go on walks and can walk very well on a leash. I am completely potty trained! I am good with children. I am spayed, current on my shots, and have never had any sort of health problems.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laynie, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
