Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barry is a very sweet, playful, snugly and friendly 18-month-old, 40-pound, black and white Spaniel/Retriever-mix looking for a loving home. Barry is full of happy smiles and takes treats very gently from your fingers. He loves people and other dogs. An active person or family would make him happy; he also loves to swim! Rescued as a stray in February from Pike County Animal Control in Pittsfield, Illinois, poor Barry was treated for heartworm disease. He came through with flying colors and is now healthy, neutered, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies, bordatella, and distemper vaccines. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. To meet and possibly adopt Barry, please contact Ray at colonelchisholm@sbcglobal.net or 847-639-6801. He is being kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois.
