Puppy #4's Story...
This precious little angel was born February 22nd of this year. His mother is a tiny Lab mix who was rescued from the Onslow County Shelter. His father is anyone's guess. He has already been neutered and had his first two puppies vaccinations and his Rabies. Now all he needs is a name and a home!

Due to the increase of area veterinary costs, as of May 1st 2010 dog adoption fees will be $180.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puppy #4, a Jacksonville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
