Chili's Story...
This is Chili. He is being fostered in a home with a Cattledog Rescue group. Here is a description that they sent for him:
This is Chili, very nice boy. He is about 3 years old, very social with people and dogs. He had no interest in the shelter cat. She was in the parking lot walking around and he could care less. He weighs about 40lbs. If you know anyone looking for a nice cattle dog buddy, please tell them about Chili. He is already neutered and ready to go to a new home. Please call 510-657-2648 or email us at 2cowdogs4us@comcast.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chili, a Tracy Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Tracy, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
