Mimmi's Story...
Mimmi is a silly little brown tabby girl. Mimmi is an active in your face kitten. She fears nothing! Mimmi could fit into just about any home and do well. Adjustment time for Mimmi would be about 10 minutes! The name Mimmi came from the name Screaming Mimi, given to her because she screamed when she was hungry and ready for her next bottle!

Mimmi was dumped at Pennsylvania SPCA in Philadelphia when she was barely a week old. Her eyes were not yet open. She had no mom and was totally dependent on being bottle fed for the next month if she had any chance of surviving. In the midst of kitten season when nearly 100 kittens are surrendered to the PSPCA daily, she would be euthanized that night. Fortunately, Stray Cat Blues found someone to bottle feed Mimmi for the next month.

Mimmi is estimated to be about 2.5 months of age. She has been spayed, tested negative for feline leukemia (FeLV) and FIV, dewormed and are up to date on all vaccinations. If you think you may be interested in little Mimmi, don't waste time! She will be gone in a heartbeat!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimmi, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
