Molly's Story...
About molly: Molly is a 9 yrs. old, spayed female, Lhasa Apso. She was given up by her elderly owners as they were unable to care for her anymore. She is a friendly dog, but not good with other pets (cats or dogs). She is housebroken and loves to go for walks on leash and is good riding in a car. Molly has been around children, but we prefer to place her in a home without children. If you would like to meet Molly, please call the shelter at: 860-870-3155

Act quickly to adopt Molly. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Ellington Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Ellington, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Ellington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ellington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ellington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ellington paves the way for another one to be saved.
