I came up to eat with my sister when I was about 4 weeks old, and all of the sudden I ws scruffed by the trapper, who ended up being my foster mom. She socialized me so I could be adoptable!
I love to put my paw on your face (of course, with my claws tucked in!) to get your attention...and what that really means is PET ME!!!! If you ignore me, then I begin to tap, tap, tap on your face two to three times. If that doesn't work, I just have to continue my tapping and staring at you until you respond!!! Sometimes I just like being on your chest with my head on your shoulder. Bottom line - just love on me, For Pete's Sake!!
Purr Paws Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3). We are a foster based rescue, meaning that we do not have a shelter. All of our cats and kittens live with their foster families until adoption. We are a no-kill rescue, meaning that we do not euthanize for space. Quality of life is important to us.
Purr Paws Rescue is always looking for new foster homes and volunteers to help with adoption days, transport, and the adoption center at Petsmart Cypress.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We hold adoptions on most Saturday's and Sunday's at Petsmart Cypress (Hwy 290 @ Spring-Cypress) from Noon to 4pm. For more information, please check out our website.
Our Adoption Process...
We have a $95 adoption fee which helps cover the costs of getting the cats and kittens to adoptable status. We do have an application, which can be filled out online on our website, and then a contract upon approval.
