Dante's Story...
Arrival story: Hi! My name is Dante. I was living in a bad situation and taken to a shelter up north. But Waggin Tails came along and is giving me the second chance at life that I deserve.

Approximate age / weight: Dante is 1 year old and weighs 45lbs.

Personality: Dante just arrived at his foster home and we are still learning about his personality. So far we know that he is a playful little dog who likes being around humans and other dogs. He is getting along good with his two other doggie housemates. Dante is a little shy at first but quickly warms up to new people.

Forever home: Dante would love a yard to play in and a family who will love him and give him the care he deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dante, a Northville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Northville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Northville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northville paves the way for another one to be saved.
