Butters's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/cp_butters.html -- Butters - Hi! My name is Butters.

I am a neutered male Wirehaird Vizsla / Greyhound mix. I have really neat wiry hair on my back. I am very gentle & loving !!! I am somewhat shy and take some time to warm up to new people. I love everyone, men, women and kids!!! I am great with cats and other dogs! Cats are some of my best friends.

I did have a very rough start in life, I was found on the street when I was small. I need a kind family that will be patient with me and give me time to integrate into a new family and let me know I am loved.. I am bright and loyal! I would love to meet you!!

Please complete an adoption interest form and email it to joann21@vzw.blackberry.net or call JoAnn at 602- 819-5063 if you are interested in meeting me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butters, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
