Rascal's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, declawed, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rascal's Story...
Rascal is a 5 year old Blue Point Siamese who is hoping that his new family will see him here and come claim him as their own. He is 4 paw declawed. Please email us for an application if interested at ccrescue614@yahoo.com. We need an application to start the process. WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS TIME IS LIMITED SO WE NEED AN APPLICATION FIRST BEFORE WE EMAIL BACK AND FORTH WITH QUESTIONS. WE NEVER SHIP CATS! We require an adoption application and approval before we set an appointment to meet the cats they are in private homes for foster care. This is policy and no exception will be made. Thanks for your interest. As a policy for our rescue we do NOT adopt cats/kittens for gifts. We have to screen the adopter how will be owning the cat. Not a person who is thinking to give as a gift. So if you are looking to adopt for a family member LIVING IN THE SAME HOME AS YOU, then you can apply but if not living in your home we do not adopt. We make no exception to this policy for those wanting to adopt a cat/kitten to give as a gift. If you are interested and want to pay for the adoption fee for the person adopting that is a good way to help them adopt a cat/kitten and we then screen them to adopt and you pay for the adoption fee. This is a good option and has been done before. We have all our policies to protect our cats and appreciate you thinking of a rescue kitty to adopt but not as a gift.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal, a Columbus Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
