Stitch's Story...
STITCH IS IN FOSTER CARE, PLEASE CALL THE SHELTER TO MEET HIM. Stitch is a 4 month old un-neutered male lab mix. Here is what his foster mom has to say: This is my latest foster. He's very mellow and well behaved. Easily correctable, loves people, crate trained, and appears to be housebroken. He's a little shy at first, but very trusting. He's going to make some lucky family a great pet! Had Stitch out at the dog park tonight, and he did great! I can't believe how wonderful, well behaved, and loving he is for a 4 month old pup. His only bad habits - jumping up (which we're working on), and car rides make him whimper a little bit. Stitch's adoption fee is $23.50 plus the cost of his neuter. Please call the shelter at 208-794-0944.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stitch, a Meridian Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
