Benjamin's Story...
Some call me Benjamin, other Ben, some Benny, I even go by Benji sometimes. When you have as many friends as I do you end up with a lot of nicknames. What can I say, I’m a popular guy. I mean, who doesn’t love a friendly, social and handsome little guy like me? I’m great with all the other dogs, oh boy I just love to play and I bet you I would even fit in with your pack of children, if they are respectful and gentle with me. I’m totally crate trained and even housebroken already. So hurry and ask for Benjamin or Ben or Benny or just Mr. Happy! 1 ½ years old-12lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; neuter, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam, reduced cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benjamin, a Portland Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
