Wilbur's Story...
Wilbur is a wonderful 12 week old little boy who was dropped off down from a school where a nice lady found him and took him in. He followed her everywhere but because she lived too close to a busy road she didn't feel that this was the right environment for him. She wanted him to have a better life. He is now in a loving foster home that has other dogs that he loves to play with. He uses the doggie door when he needs to go out. Wilbur is neutered and up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventitives. His adoption fee is $450. If you're looking for a great family companion to join your home on June 11, please go to www.rescueangels.org/pages/adoptionapplication.html to fill out our online adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilbur, a Braintree Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Braintree, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Braintree.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Braintree already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Braintree breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Braintree paves the way for another one to be saved.
