Sherman's Story...
I love to go on walks and don’t seem to mind all the attention I get because of my size. They don’t call me Sherman the Tank for nothing! I’m about 5 years old and I spend most of my days rolling around on my back, and going to the park when it is not too hot out. I love to cuddle and be around people. I have gone through behavior modification On/Off leash. I do not pull at all on leash, I can sit and stay and lie down and stay on command! Perhaps most importantly... I’ve learned to come the first time I am called; although that’s easy when you love your foster parents! My foster parents tell me that I’ve come a long way! I am a huge love bug, AND am really excited to find a forever home with someone who likes to go on walks, and will play with me. I have opened up a lot and enjoy playing with others, but sometimes I can get too excited. I would make a great companion for anyone, but in general I’m a pretty laid-back guy, and just want to have a calm friend to hang out with.

Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team has trained Sherman in Behavior Modification ON/OFF Leash.
Adoption for Sherman includes three handling sessions with Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team free of charge.

Adoption application on website requests information regarding living environment, care of pet, etc. Fee is $150 and provides discounts for adopting more than one or adopting animals with special needs.
