Trina's Story...
Little Trina is an adorable probable mini Aussie mix. She weighs 27lbs and is around 2 yrs old. This little sweetheart is from Chipley Animal Services.

The report on Trina, AKA Trinny is that she a very sweet girl, she is house trained, great on leash and very friendly with people, loves people! She is a little defensive with other dogs. She may need to go to a home with no other dogs. Trina is very affectionate and loves to follow you around. She give lots of kisses. This is not a high energy dog, pretty low key, she's going to make some one a lovely companion. My husband describes her as a "happy" dog!
>
Unfortunately she is heartworm positive so will need to be treated before she's available for adoption. She'll be available sometime late June.

Trinny will be fostered in Thonatasassa (between Lakeland and Tampa).

Our adoption fee is $250.00 (over 10 yrs $125.00), this helps cover some of the dogs expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date with vaccinations, heartworm tested and on preventative. You must be willing to travel to the dog to meet/adopt .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trina, a Orlando Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
