found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am a special needs pet and up to date with shots.
Little Bit is a “lady’s” girl. I rescued her the end of December. I am assuming someone dumped her out in the country near my home. I don’t think she would have lasted much longer if I hadn’t spotted her on the edge of the road near some woods. She is very sweet, loving, and VERY attached to me. She is not real friendly with men so I am assuming there is some history there. She will take treats from my husband, follow him around outside during the day, but as soon as I enter the picture, she turns into my guard dog. It think she is dominant yet somewhat fearful. We have determined that she appears to be a “Rat-Chi” designer type dog (1/2 rat terrier and ½ Chihuahua). She is about 9 – 10 pounds. She has been to the vet and is UTD on everything, but is not yet spayed. She is heart worm negative and on preventative meds. The vet says she is about 5 years old. She has had some seizures that the vet says are idiopathic in nature – no known reason as her blood work is fine. It is about once a month so far. There are also a few potty issues. She can hold it forever and likes to go outside and run around for up to 2 hours at a time. But my husband and I both are gone all day for the most part. If kept in my bedroom (that’s where her crate and food are) she doesn’t mess. It is going to take a special person that wants a complete companion dog. There is a $55.00 adoption fee involved, which will either recoup my costs in spaying her or she will come with a voucher to get her spayed for $55.00. It still angers and horrifies me that someone could dump her in such cold harsh weather expecting fully that she wouldn’t make it.
