Bunny's Info...

Bunny's Story...
Bunny has had it rough since she entered this world. She has been declawed and was then abandoned. How fair is that? A good Samaritan came to her rescue knowing that Bunny couldn’t fend for herself on the streets. Unfortunately the Samaritan’s lease terms didn’t allow for owning a pet.

So Bunny came to live in a car and if she could she would tell you that that’s not a great place for a permanent home. That’s how Bunny came to 4Paws and now she is very excited to get a chance to meet you!

Having gone through constantly changing environments it’s understandable that Bunny is a little shy at first. Yet you’ll soon find out that she is one of the sweetest cats anyone could ever hope to meet.

When in a comfortable environment with people Bunny will rub corners, roll over and start up the purring engine to show how happy she is that you're around. She will proudly present her Tummy for rubs, her head for scratching and if you pet her back she’ll perform what we call the “carjack”. A brush sends Bunny into kitty heaven and toys of all kinds are always welcome.

Bunny was born in 2007, she has been spayed, declawed and tested negative for FIV & FELV. She's a true survivor, and she really deserves a home for living through what she lived through with such grace.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bunny, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
