Union Jack's Story...
This guy is not a beagle but what a cutie! He needs help finding a home and is in Union City IN and the ACO is working hard to find him one. Rescues welcome too to get him out of the shelter if you have room. He does not have a name so we will just call him Union Jack for now. Male, 10-12 months old, maybe retriever... and lab, VERY friendly and sweet. What wonderful boy! He is not neutered but we will help with that if needed and can also direct adopters to low cost services for shots and neuter. Anyhow, have a look at Union Jack and cross post to your friends. Email us at vhall67@comcast.net if interested in him. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Union Jack, a Indianapolis Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
