Tatum's Story...
Tatum is a beautiful spaniel or border collie mix, just under a year old and weighs about 30 pounds. She's smaller than she looks in her pictures . . . just a lot of fluff! Though she's timid of sudden movements and needs a little confidence building, she's friendly and affectionate to everyone. She's got a great temperament, gets along nicely with other dogs, and lives in harmony with the resident cats. She goes outside through her doggie door to potty and is also paper trained. She is generally well behaved, though still needs formal obedience training. All in all, she's a lovely girl that will make a lovely pet for someone looking for a sweet companion.

Tatum's adoption fee of $290 includes: vet exam, flea preventative, heartworm test, DHPP (distemper-parvo combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, bordetella vaccination, deworming, microchip and spaying.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tatum, a Mt. Prospect Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
