Alley's Story...
Meet Alley! Alley is such a wonderful purebred, AKC registered, senior girl, around 12 years old! She is so loving and affectionate and will follow you everywhere. She even leans her head on you for a scratch. She is potty trained and can be trusted in the house alone (doesn't chew etc.). She is so cute when she carries around her toys or stares at you with those big old labby eyes. :) She would do best in a quiet household, as she does not like to be bumped or jumped on by other dogs. She does great with cats and older dogs who mind their manners. She is such a wonderful and loving companion and would be a great addition to any home.

UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER FAMILY: Alley is by far the sweetest and easiest dog in the world! She loves to be petted and needs lots of love and attention. One of her favorite things to do is sit next to you and let her pet her. When she's not asking to be pet, she loves to lounge around and relax with a chew toy or something else to play with. Despite her age, she still has plenty of energy and loves to go on walks! She also loves to play alone in the back yard, but she really likes to explore so you have to keep an eye on her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alley, a Cumming Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cumming, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cumming.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cumming already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cumming breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cumming paves the way for another one to be saved.
