Chance von Cologne's Story...
Chance von Cologne is a very handsome 12 month old German Shepherd. Chance is that typical teenager in need of some training and some long walks every day. He's a medium sized shepherd, around 65 pounds but will probably fill out a bit more as he matures. He's a happy, go lucky dude and can't wait to explore the world. He's fine with other dogs as you can see on his picture. He shared a fairly small crate with a female shepherd during a 2 hour ride from the shelter. He would do great in an active home with a family who likes to go hiking, to the beach and enjoys taking their dog with them. Chance is up for anything, you'll just have to come meet this goofball and see for yourself!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chance von Cologne, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
