Princess's Story...
Princess Annie is a very affectionate dog, and reacts positively in a one-on-one situation. She enjoy sitting on one's lap. She needs to go to a quiet home with no other animals in the home, and with an owner with dog experience. A retired couple or empty nesters where one person is home a lot would be ideal. She does become anxious when visitors come, and does lots of barking. She loves her stuffed animal toys and likes her own space, such as a crate, when she is alone at home. She is house trained and lets you know when she wants to go out. She will need some training to help her learn to negotiate stairs, they are new to her. She did become jealous of another dog in the home.

Princess Annie can be seen by (email) request. We show dogs on Saturdays, 1 to 3 PM, at Pet Valu, 601 Route 206, Hillsborough, NJ 08844, but if you want to see a particular dog please email us at least by the Friday before. Prospective adopters would hopefully live within 2 hour's drive from Princeton NJ, but we hare not strict about that, if we feel that a good home is being offered. Applications are filled out when you meet the dog, and it takes approximately a week to make an adoption.
Princess Annie is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a PRINCETON Miniature Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in PRINCETON, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer dog from a breeder in PRINCETON.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in PRINCETON already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a PRINCETON breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in PRINCETON paves the way for another one to be saved.
