Tammy & Tutti's Story...
Hi, we are Tammy & Tutti, the Double T sisters. We're a special pair of lovebirds, treated with a large home due to past events. Back when we were youngsters we were rowdy rabble rousing rebels and had a minor encounter with a big bad birdie. We are all grown up now and have calmed down, but we still have the marks (Tammy is missing a small part of her upper beak, and Tutti has a recessed eye), to prove how tough we were. None of our battle wounds affect our quality of life. We come with our own birdie mansion, and we love to sing tales for you. Please note that we do not adoption our parrots out for breeding purposes, it is against our policies.

Please email us at obparrotrescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application and adoption fee. Our adoption procedure is located on our website under the adoption & fee info tab.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tammy & Tutti, a Redlands Lovebird was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lovebird for sale in Redlands, or seeking a Lovebird from a breeder in Redlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lovebird breeders who help with Lovebird rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
