My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweetie lives up to her name and is very sweet! She is an Moloccan Cockatoo who has half of her upper beak missing. We were told that she was placed into a breeding situation in which the male cockatoo broke half her upper beak. She has no problems eating but will need her beak adjusted every few months to help with the growth.

Sweetie is looking for loving, quiet home with few people and no children under 18. She does seem to prefer men over women. She is also scared with new people but with lots of time she will make an excellent companion. She may have been abused sometime her lifetime, so she will need extra gentle care and slow movements. Due to this, we ask only people who have had a cockatoo or large parrot to apply. Sweetie does come with her cage.

Please email us at obparrotrescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application and adoption fee. Our adoption procedure is located on our website under the adoption & fee info tab.
