Poalina's Story...
My story: Fernando, Roberto, Alejandro, Carmina, Poalina and Bonita are siblings. These adorable 6 babies were born to a mom still a kitten herself. She tried her best to keep them safe and dry by moving them into a bar-b-q. Luckily a wonderful older lady found them and took care of them until they were brought to St. Francis. Poalina is a gorgeous calico. She is very sweet and loves to play. She has a great disposition. These babies will be fixed on June 1. Please call Lorie @ 625-6851 if you would like to meet them!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poalina, a Tampa Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
