Pip's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, declawed, and not good with cats.

Pip's Story...
Pip is a four paw declawed classic orange tabby with white socks and front bib. He has gloriously soft and luxuriant fur that is a joy to pet.

A male, Pip is a calm cat who likes to sit on your lap and sleep on the bed at night. About 6 – 7 years old, Pip enjoys a rousing game of laser light or chasing the “da bird” feather toy. His favorite place to sleep is in the bathroom sink.

Pip doesn’t care for other cats and should be the only pet. It is stressful for him sharing a foster home with several other cats. A nice solid, healthy cat, Pip eats well, has good litter box habits (he prefers a covered box for privacy) and is very loving. Pip is waiting patiently for someone to realize what a great guy he is and take him home where he can shower you with love.

Pip has tested negative for FELV/FIV, is neutered, and is current on his distemper and rabies vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pip, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
