Tony's Story...
Tony the Tiger say's "They're greeeaaattt!" Tony the dog says "I'm Greeeeat!" Tony is a very cool dog. We think he is part bull terrier and part dalmation. But of course, that is just a guess. Tony was found as a stray. He appears to be a young dog of about one or two years old. His teeth are pearly white and his eyes are a bright shiny brown. He has a beautiful orange and black coat of fur that truly resembles Tony the Tiger from Frosted Flakes! He loves to run around and play with toys. He is friendly with all people and just wants belong to a family. He gets along with cats too. He has been known to get along with some dogs. Please call the shelter if you'd like to meet Tony.

You can see some of our adoptable pets every Sunday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 4pm and some Saturdays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tony, a Youngwood Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Dalmatian for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Dalmatian breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
