Rachel's Story...
Rachel a jack russell terrier mix was rescued from the pound in May of 2006. She is now 4 years old. She has been spayed and her rabies shot is up to date. She got a 3 year vaccination in January 2010. She sits and comes when she is called. She also sits up for treats. She is not continuously hyper, she likes to sit on your lap. She has been kept in the house and is a very good natured dog. She has been socialized with people and other pets (even cats and horses). Her and my other dog would lay side by side a lot, they were big buddies. Rachel desperately needs a new home sine her current owner is concerned for her safety as the next door neighbor recently shot Rachel's buddy, a GSD. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rachel, a Thomasville Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Thomasville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Thomasville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thomasville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thomasville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thomasville paves the way for another one to be saved.
