Wyatt's Story...
Wyatt is 1 to 2 years old and weighs 85 pounds. He's a real sweetie and knows commands like Sit, Shake, Down, etc. He is extremely friendly he loves to cuddle for such a big dog, I think if you let him he would sit on your lap. He loves going for walks and his ball is his favorite toy. He loves to put his head in your lap and lets you massage his head. He was found as a stray. Please call 614 286 5514. If you would like to apply to adopt this pet please visit www.powellPAWS.org to review our adoption requirements and submit an application. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wyatt, a Powell Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Powell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Powell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Powell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Powell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Powell paves the way for another one to be saved.
