My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zev is one of three litter brothers pulled out of a Louisiana high kill shelter at a young age and then brought up north into foster, where they have been allowed to stay together, teach each other, and receive optimal socialization. Zev is the largest of the three, the most confident and the most mature. He is an extremely smart, responsive puppy, keen to what's going on in his environment, people-drawn and with a very natural handler focus....he will be pleasurable to raise and train :) Very well adapted and promising, this is a nicely intuitive puppy, sure of who he is but extremely well balanced! He is fine for a family, but also would suit the single individual well....this is a pup who will bond closely and well. Australian Shepherds are a lovely breed but suffer more than most from people getting the puppy rather than the adult they will grow to be. They are a working breed that is requiring of exercise and stimulation, and due to their natural caution and sensitive natures need more socialization than most. We are interested in seeing Zev and his brothers go to families with the schedule and time for them and who are willing to enroll in puppy class.
