My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

March 13, 2011 UPDATE for Oreo. The vet has informed us that Oreo is in need of a dental and he has a condition called eosinophillic granuloma (skin allergies and mouth ulcers) and has required ongoing care for this condition. Please help little Oreo, any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.

Oreo is an absolutely adorable black and white Exotic shorthair with the sweetest personality. He is loving, affectionate, curious, energetic and just a joy to watch roaming around. He always comes up with new places to sleep in or on, he is a very fast mover when he is awake, always looking for new things to explore, but then looks too adorable when he lays down for a nap. Usually you see some paws hanging off somewhere, he really relaxes when he sleeps. Oreo likes to play with feathertoys and catnip.
He came to us with a nonpainful rash on the roof of his mouth, which is not contagious. It is quickly clearing up. Oreo's vet says he could require future treatment if the rash returns - generally antibiotics or a steroid shot.
He is also on a no-fish, no-grain diet and will need to stay on that.
Its a non-presciption dry food easy to get at better petstores. His prior owners just left instructions at the shelter that he can't have any fish, but often if cats have sensitivities to food, its a good idea to leave grains out as well.
His eyes and the crease in his face need to be cleaned every day since his eyes stain and his crease will get irritated if neglected.
Oreo is a very handsome boy, his big eyes and personality pull you right in.
Oreo is slowly getting used to the residence cats at his foster home, he still hisses at them when they are close to him, but then just runs along.
He is starting to play chase with one of the cats and sometimes letting them sniff his nose, so he will be fine with other friendly cats.
Of course they would need to be on a diet of no-fish, no-grain food.
He would be perfectly fine as an only cat as well.
Now all Oreo needs is a loving forever home.
He will love you and entertain you and be a wonderful companion
