Phoebe's Story...
Puggle Snuggles!

When I went to “liberate” Phoebe from her kennel at the police station, she was so excited that she wiggled and wagged her entire little body (and then promptly fell asleep in my lap).

Left to wander the streets alone, brakes screeched and on-lookers covered their eyes as she darted across the street. How terrified she must have been with no one to hold her and comfort her!

In her foster home, Phoebe is nothing short of gleeful! She plays with her foster dog-siblings with sheer joy, and then promptly plops down for a post-playtime nap in her foster dad’s lap.

But that’s just temporary. With an emergency of his own, Phoebe’s foster dad can keep her for only a few days. With all our foster homes filled to the brim, Phoebe desperately needs a home where she can finally live the life she deserves—safe, happy, and loved—and she needs that home ASAP!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a South Euclid Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in South Euclid, or seeking a Pug puppy from a breeder in South Euclid.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Euclid already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Euclid breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Euclid paves the way for another one to be saved.
