Kitten #2's Story...
Recently volunteers rescued 3 kittens and their momma from someone's backyard. They are cute as can be! Check out the third picture where they are all huddled together.

Kitten #2 is the only black and white sibling. The vet thinks it's a boy, but it can be hard to tell when they are so young! We've held off naming this little one until we are 100% sure on the sex.

Kitten #2 is the smallest of the bunch. He has a shy personality, so volunteers have been handling him quite often. We want to show him that people can be lots of fun! He likes to hide under things, wrestle with his litter mates and eat his feet when he's bored. What a silly little guy!

We estimate the 3 kittens to be around 4 weeks of age, so they are still nursing; however they are starting to be offered normal food and will be slowly weaned over the next few weeks.

We are currently accepting inquiries and applications for the kittens, so that they are lined-up for homes when they are ready to leave their momma.

If you are interested in adopting Kitten #2, please fill out an online application at www.sadiemaefoundation.org

$75 adoption donation, vet reference check and home visit apply. **NOTE: Our adoption agreement specifically prohibits adopters from declawing. There are alternatives to declawing and we'd be happy to discuss the alternatives with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kitten #2, a Manchester Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Manchester, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Manchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
