Mindy's Story...
Image hosting by Photobucket

(ID #344) Hi, my name is Mindy

I am a sweet young lady that likes people after I get to know them and other animals. I only weigh between 20 and 30 pounds which means I am just a nice sized dog; not too big, not too small. I have been given my basic shots. I have not yet been spayed. Part of my adoption package is a certificate for a FREE spay. That means there will be no expense for you.

I take my time when getting acquainted with people. Things happened to me when I was very young so I have to be sure that people will be nice to me.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. They are providing me with a getting started goodie bag. This bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, toy, a certificate for a FREE dog training course (This course is held in the Sharonville area), and other dog related items.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mindy, a Cincinnati Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
